Cloud-Native 5G Experimentations
This deployment aims to showcase OpenAirInterface.org (OAI) and Mosaic5G.io software tools for cloudnative 5G network service delivery platforms. This will be a living lab and can be accessed remotely allowing experimentation and development of vertical applications for future 5G networks.
In this context, we are looking for a testbed/site manager that will extend the site to support Kube5G and oversee the operation of the site including testbed setup, network experimentation and management, software deployment and testing on the EURECOM data center as well as interaction with partners in France and worldwide.
Requirements
Education Level / Degree: Master Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. A PhD is also very highly considered, although not absolutely mandatory for the position.
Field / specialty: Telecommunications, Computer science.
Technologies: High-Speed Networking, Modern Software Engineering tools, Data Center Technologies, Basic radio-network knowledge and familiarity with 3GPP-based systems. Understanding/knowledge in AI/ML will be a plus.
Languages / tools: Golang, Python, C/C++, Linux networking, community-based open-source software tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, git, Jenkins)
Other skills / specialties: Project Management, 4G/5G radio-access and/or core network protocols (both is a definite plus).
Other important elements: Fluency in written and spoken English.
